Although the various creative fields on this website seem a little scattershot, I came to them in sequence. As a kid, I performed as a singer before making my stage debut at age 15 and heading off to theater school, then music school, before finally deciding to study at the University of Groningen, where I graduated with a master’s degree in writing.

Along the way, I became a founding member of Stranger Things Have Happened, one of the Netherlands’s biggest improv comedy groups, and was lucky enough to act in a number of projects both on stage and on television. I started writing and directing for the stage (Our Father) and the screen (North, Twenty Something), the page (Nights With Strangers) and made the album What You Leave Behind. Then I picked up photography. I am currently a performer in Gary, Indiana.
